چکیده

BACKGROUND: Osteoarthritis of the knee joint leads to a decrease in volume movements, violation sliding articular surfaces, and change axis limb under load, which affects biomechanics walking. AIM: This study aims compare results robot-assisted total arthroplasty (TKA) manual techniques, their influence on biomechanical podometric parameters patient’s walk. METHODS: A prospective randomized 68 patients was carried out period from 2020 2021. Our follow-up 1 year. All were performed one joint. The main Group “A” included 33 TKA with use an active robotic setting “TSolution-One” (“THINK Surgical, Inc.” [Fremont, California, USA]); comparison “B” consisted 35 technic TKA. We studied pain syndrome visual analog scale, functional state Oxford Knee Score (OKS) Western Ontario McMaster Universities Arthritis Index (WOMAC), ROM deviation mechanical by teleroentgenography lower limb. Objective analysis function «Alter-G» «C-mill». RESULTS: Post-operative 1st day after surgery is stronger 7.9%, but 5th A, 14.3%. better 16% 3 months surgery, year 10%. positioning accuracy implant 30% better. There are no statistically significant differences OKS WOMAC scales between groups. restoring normal step 13.5% than B. CONCLUSIONS: Robot-assisted gives more accurate alignment axis, improves

Intra-articular versus Intravenous Tranexamic Acid in Total Knee Arthroplasty: A Randomized Clinical Trial

Background: Total knee arthroplasty (TKA) can cause excessive blood loss requiring allogenic transfusions.Tranexamic acid (TXA) has been increasingly used for lowering blood loss. The present study aimed to comparethe efficacy of intravenous (IV) and intra-articular (IA) administrations of TXA in TKA patients who receive aspirin aschemoprophylaxis and uses no drain post-operat...

Study of knee range of motion after soft tissue repair in both flexion and extension during total knee arthroplasty: a randomized clinical trial

Background: The patient's position during the recovery time after arthroplasty surgery can be a factor in reducing complications and improving patients’ condition. Therefore, this study was performed to compare the knee range of motion after soft tissue repair in both flexion and extension positions of total knee arthroplasty. Methods: This study is a double-blind clinical trial. The study pop...

Clinical Outcomes After Computer-assisted Versus Conventional Total Knee Arthroplasty.

The purpose of this study was to determine whether the use of computer-assisted surgery can improve the clinical results in total knee arthroplasty (TKA) compared with conventional methods of TKA.A literature search of PubMed (1966 to August 2011), CENTRAL (Cochrane Controlled Trials Register; issue 3, 2011), and EMBASE (1984 to August 2011) was conducted. Randomized, controlled trials detectin...

Drain clamping in knee arthroplasty, a randomized controlled trial.

BACKGROUND The purpose of this study was to determine whether repeated clamping of a suction drainage system will result in less external blood loss, blood transfusion and no increase in complications compared to a routine continuous suction drainage system. This was a randomized prospective study on patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty. METHODS Group A patients' drains were left clamp...

Robot-Assisted Navigation versus Computer-Assisted Navigation in Primary Total Knee Arthroplasty: Efficiency and Accuracy

Background. Since the introduction of robot-assisted navigation in primary total knee arthroplasty (TKA), there has been little research conducted examining the efficiency and accuracy of the system compared to computer-assisted navigation systems. Objective. To compare the efficiency and accuracy of Praxim robot-assisted navigation (RAN) and Stryker computer-assisted navigation (CAN) in primar...
